RADICAL AUTONOMY & LOCAL TRANSFORMATION
This is our most decentralized initiative — and our clearest proof that transformation is not the exclusive domain of industry. They are the heritage of the community. Here, producer families manage the complete cycle: from cultivating perennial species to operating their own stills for steam distillation.
Separation of floral water, oil filtration, final packaging — every step is carried out by the same hands that planted and harvested. The result is a productive autonomy that is almost total. We work with local treasures like Juanilama — a plant whose complexity runs so deep that we have chemically identified four distinct chemotypes. CoopeCuna, a women’s cooperative in the Caribbean region, stands as the most complete living example of what this autonomy looks like in practice.
